Road: Chail is well connected to the popular capital of the state of Himachal Pradesh, Shimla by road. Guests travelling by road should use the National Highway (NH-22) originating from Chandigarh towards Shimla. Chail can be approached directly by the NH-22 running from Chandigarh with stations in between at Kasauli or Dharampur to reach Kandaghat which later deviates from the highway by a city-link for Chail. It is a 26 km drive from Kandaghat to Chail. Guests traveling from Shimla to Chail should take the road from Kufri and take a diversion to Chail from the Kufri bazaar.
